The Story Behind the Angel Boy Art, Inc. Original Collection
On September 5, 2007, a series of events was set into motion that resulted in the first gallery exhibit of Angel Boy Art, Incorporated artwork. It was on this day that Angel Boy Art, Inc.'s President, Sara Vitale, and her husband board member Louis Vitale, were notified that they had been selected for ABC's reality TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition.
During the seven day build families are typically sent on vacation. Lou and Sara along with their two sons Kane and Louie Jr., opted instead to volunteer at David's House in Lebanon, New Hampshire. David's House is a home-away-from-home for families of children receiving medical teatment at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital.
While at David's House a surprise gathering of young artists was arranged. The masterpieces that resulted from that gathering are known as the Angel Boy Art, Incorporated Original Collection. ABC's team also arranged for an exhibit of the collection at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center on September 11, 2007.
The original canvases are not for sale, but prints are available through our Print Gallery. We are currenlty planning a series of exhibits of the original collection at various locations throughout New England. To receive updates as they become available please join our mailig list.
