Kane Vitale is five years old. He is the big brother of Louie Jr. who has special needs. Kane enjoys painting with his brother and also loves trains and the color purple. Kane loves to wear tye-dye clothing and push Louie Jr. around the house in his chair. Doing art projects has helped Kane communicate his emotions about his brother's special needs. The art is also a form of bonding between the two brothers. Kane is learning about how Louie adapts by helping him work on art projects. He is also learning about how it feels to have physical limitations by experimenting with some of the techiniques Louie uses to paint.
